One of the world's most iconic ad campaigns is set to end after three decades.
Animal rights group PETA [People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals] has announced it is bringing its 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' anti-fur series of ads to a close.
Some of entertainment's biggest names - including Pamela Anderson, Eva Mendes, Kim Basinger and Gillian Anderson - have all stripped off for variations on the nude theme.
As more labels and designers distance themselves from using fur and other animal products in their clothes, PETA said such a campaign was no longer needed.
"It's kind of rare for a charity to be able to cancel a campaign because of its success," said PETA's senior vice president of campaigns, Dan Matthews.
He added: "With fur in a downward spiral, PETA will expand our efforts to expose the violent leather and wool trades."
The campaign began in 1990 when girl group The Go-Go's - including Berlinda Carlisle - went nude behind a banner marked, "We'd Rather Go-Go Naked Than Wear Fur."
That paved the way for many other animal-friendly celebs to lend their support, and bodies, to the famous campaign.
Dennis Rodman, Tommy Lee, Kim Basinger's daughter Ireland Baldwin and Joanna Krupa all stripped off.
Now, 30 years after it began it is coming to an end - with Ireland Baldwin being the last to feature.
A PETA spokesperson added: "Its time for this iconic campaign to go the way of the mink stole, so that PETA can focus on other areas in which animals still need a great deal of help."
